THE FLAG PROJECT AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER
In collaboration with City Harvest, Rockefeller Center holds its annual The Flag Project. Each year participants are able to submit artwork that is inspired by their memorable New York foods. Selected flags are flown at Rockefeller Center for the month of April 2023, which I visited, took many many photos, and grabbed some bags of Nut for Nuts
Nuts for NYC
This flag is dedicated to my favorite city treat. Whenever I want some honey-roasted peanuts, I can always smell them before I see them, they can be found everywhere and they are so NYC to me.
I wanted to share this with The Flag Project because although it is such a small snack, it packs a sweet punch. I have so many memories of sharing a bag with friends and family, even when we are fighting over the last handful.
